Linda McCabe

Linda McCabe has set and reached many goals in her life. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Linda began her career in publishing, but eventually turned to teaching in Chicago Public Schools. After 15 years of teaching, she made a bold move to join her father's business, H. Diamond Iron & Metal Co. Linda worked her way up, became President, and grew the business to $6 million in sales. Following a dream, she sold H. Diamond and launched Optimal Level. From piles of scrap metal, she feels she has learned a heap of lessons which have helped her dedicate herself to helping women discover their real life values, meet their goals, and follow their hearts. Optimal Level is made up of groups of women who meet once a month at various locations. Through these discussions women learn, share and grow. The main purpose of these meetings is to promote the empowerment of women toward achieving their goals. Linda lives in a Northwest suburb of Illinois, has been married for 33 years to a husband she describes as a good candidate for One of The World's Best Husbands, and has two wonderful adult children who she adores. Apart from family, friends, work, and country, Linda also loves weight lifting, running, reading, and movies. In addition, she has a passionate interest in supporting and guiding women, and in working with them to reach solutions, to explore new, exciting directions, and to propel them toward vigorously successful results.
